The elephant foot mag on the HK45CT is just about as ugly and cumbersome as it can get, imho. I understand it gives you a couple of extra rounds, but, with that huge foot sticking out, it defeats the purpose of a compact pistol. The HK45 represents an evolutionary advancement of the USP Compact chambered in .45 ACP and shares the operating principles and many internal parts of that weapon. Significant effort went towards making it more ergonomic than the HK USP Compact.
